Jenny Radcliffe A.KA “The People Hacker,” is a world renowned Social Engineer, hired to bypass security systems through a mixture of psychology, con-artistry and cunning. A “burglar” for hire, she has spent a lifetime talking her way into secure locations, and leading simulated criminal attacks on organisations to help secure money, data, and information from malicious attacks.
Jenny has many industry awards. Amongst those are prestigious InfoSec Hall of Fame in 2022, top 30 female cyber security leaders in 2022 by SC Magazine, top 25 Women in Cyber by IT Security Guru and more. Jenny is a global keynote speaker at major conferences and is a multiple TEDx contributor. She is the author of the book People Hacker: Confessions of a Burglar for Hire which is to be made into a major television series.

Social Engineering is the art and science of working with the human element in security. In this talk, lifelong Social Engineer Jenny Radcliffe takes us along on her journey to becoming known as “The People Hacker” for her long and varied career working with psychology, persuasion and influencing skills to test her clients security.
This talk takes us from Jenny’s origins in the city of Liverpool to some of her many assignments. From the City of London to the streets of Asia and beyond, her story is littered with anecdotes and examples of social engineering in action and how we can all understand why the majority of security breaches STILL arise from the manipulations and mistakes of human beings.
